but the "Kiss me, hardly" is a real snippet, right?

I don't recall that specific line. But the vocals on all the ones I heard earlier all sounded real - there were 3 HQ sounding snippets and 1 long LQ one. It just appears that the instrumental is a remix in them and the vocals are good quality filters for an acapella. The verses have cleaner filters because the instrumental isn't as drum heavy during those parts so you lose less clarity. Hope that helps?

There is a fine line between laughing and crying.  But I think it will be borderline amusing if by next week we still have no music announcement from Gaga but have to endure releases by Ariana x Bieber and Katy Perry.  You couldn’t make it up :spin:

I have a strong feeling that she's regretting releasing chromatica because the music is not that good ..

Just think about it .. SL was not that song compared to her older pop songs .. Rom ? There's no wow factor judging from the leaked snippet. .FW ? The same

Her Paper mag interview may prove otherwise: it's a very personal record of hers, and she definitely does not regret creating it.

She's always been "Hollywood" her team and label exist to maximize the profitably of her art and ensure funding. She is too big to have the freedom that artists like Charli and Kim Petras have with their releases. Mid level pop girls actually have more power because their stakes and investments aren't as high. That's just the facts, you can hate it. But let's not pretend it hasn't been that way since The Fame. :vegas:

Agree with what u are saying.
However, right now I feel as though she just isn’t into her music anymore. I don’t think I would’ve ever thought like that about her back then  :noparty:

I just can't help but feel that if the album is really still months away she would have let us know by now, which means it must be coming soon.

As much as it might not seem it, she and her team are obviously very aware that people are waiting for news. They know people will be asking about refunds and wondering what's happening with the tour; logically the only reason she hasn't addressed those things yet is because the album will be with us very shortly. If the cover and track list were unintentional leaks and she was forced into posting them early, then she could have (and I think would have) also released a statement saying 'here's the cover, the record will be out later this year', but she didn't. The fact that she chose to use them as teases/hype building indicates, to me at least, that it's near.

Keeping silent when you know the album won't be out for months is far, far more damaging than being honest with people about a long delay, and I'm sure she and her team know that. So let's keep the faith! Blade said May, she teased on Instagram just last week, there's been some speculation about an early May announcement for some time now - I think we're nearly there!

I think the toxicity and volatile nature of social media that came for her during ARTPOP really has cause her anxiety when it comes to this big electronic pop records now. It's easier for her to be sure of herself on an album like Joanne and A Star is Born because the music has a more timeless appeal. But when doing pop like this it's like being thrown to the sharks, her own fans eat her alive and then all these other stans bases and the general public seem to almost be waiting to tear her apart and let there be blood at the slightest misstep. There is a huge lack of respect for the genre. I think it's less about her not being into it and more about there being fear of whats going to happen once it's released. No matter how much love and heart goes into it there are still so many waiting to burn all that to the ground - social media has only gotten worse since 2013 too. It's unfortunate that something that used to be a great way to communicate with fans has almost given people too much power where they think they can say anything and everything behind the safety of a screen and people have to just take it.

I might check out the Katy Perry album, but I'm gonna sleep good on the Ariana and Bieber collab.
