NFRatwell 23,290
Am I the only one remembering a post on here about how internalized homophobia is the reason gay men love to see straight men fail and consider it an achievement? Similar to how internalized racism instilled in POC leads to same effect with popular white artists (if you’ve fallen down that path on Twitter, you’ll see lots of popular tweets about how many wanted to see Dua fail with her album because she’s white and she’s praised by white gays). One of these days y’all will be ready to have that conversation. Another thing. It’s funny how quick some of y’all are to point out how sexism is at play for making him successful for making the same music while y’all praise female artists for doing it (Even getting mad at them if they don’t) and ignore male artists who change up their brand. The quicker y’all find that self realization the quicker we can see the LGBT community grow. That’s all I have to say.

INNA 3,722
The thing that really bothers me about Drake is how he is from a suburban, upper middle class family and still goes on about a lifestyle that doesn’t come naturally to him, I feel like his whole aesthetic is just borrowed from his collaborators. PND/The Weeknd is the blueprint for everything Drake is doing... and they do it better and more naturally. He is sooooooooo lazy but when you put that much effort into pandering, I suppose that it must be hard work to project something you aren’t. Not trying to be disrespectful but I don’t think of Drake as much more than an entertainer. fragment-fragment--bul-uh...scab-uh..fragment-foot, bullet fragment foot bich!
