Is it bad that I agree with the neighbor lmao? If I paid up the butt for beachfront "private" property, I wouldn't want cali tourists trashing the beach / sands by my house...

they opened it back up lol and widened it just to stick it to the neighbour i just check satellite imaging. theres really no real reason to go down to those beaches tho? like its just a beach

I know, lol most of these private beaches are just boring with lots of seaweed tbh -- but I like the solitude of listening to the waves on an empty beach sometimes  Only reason I'd want to go on a private beach; can't stand cali's insanely crowded public beaches most of the time!

never been to the public beaches but i'm getting really homesick for malibu rn...the beaches up north where i am currently quarantining just dont hit the same (too rocky)

also tbh Lana's house is kinda crap. idk why she bought it, the location isn't good and its right on the PCH. The only upside is that it doesnt have too many neighbouring housing (and prying eyes from neighbours balconies). But she spent all that money renovating that kinda shoddy house when she could've bought a much nicer, ready-to-move-in house

Not to get too off topic, but I'm the pacific north west (and thankfully living on the beach here too), but the nature in cali just hits different. 

the biggest thing i miss is the "endlessness" of the cali oceans. here, theres always an island or something off in the horizon, so the sea doesnt feel as big and empty as it does down south. 

I can't imagine not seeing/hearing the ocean from my house tho...the pacific has always been my safe space

I just don't want people taking your comment about "deaths from all causes" to mean the CDC is admitting they are including deaths from all causes in the counts when that is clearly not the cases.

dude paid like 15 mill for a beach house and doesnt want some punk teenagers from the city trying to surf in his backyard...doesn't seem that unfair
