I know,its not all about sales but still  you can't  deny that these things matter

I mean stupid love only  peaked at no5 cuz yall called it basic  but some of these  male artist drop basic ass music  all the time and it shoots to the top of the charts immidiatly.  its so freaking  annoying .

Im sorry to anyone that likes hippop but its literally the most basic genre of music ,full of lazy ass songwriters in the name of rappers .i can only think of a few rappers who actually put some thought and creativity into their work like  eminem and kanye (as much as their attitudes suck).

 all you have to do as a male hippop artist  is to come up with  good bars.  No one cares if you even wrote them yourself, no one  cares if you drop a dope ass vidoe to go with it .no cares if you look pretty  ,no one cares if you are good with the media or controversial, no one cares if you promoted it ,no one cares if you can dance ,No one expects anything from them. 

But when females drop music you see peope criticising every single bit of their work.  Its either she cant dance well enough or she lost  her voice or  her wig is messed up or she's  basic    . Its so annoying to see  people put so much pressure on female artist to stay perfect just to be second best and the males can do whatever they want and this  stupid  rap songs keep topping the charts over and over again

my parents would tell me how songs like sacrifice by elton or artist like phil collins, Prince, stevie wonder or madonna topped the charts and what am i going to tell my kids???that toosie side topped the charts. Tell me theres a light at the end of the tunnel please

The faster you accept popular music won't always be what YOU prefer, the faster you'll learn to love more music and listen to what you like without thinking twice about if it topped the charts or not. Who gives a ****? Honestly. 

Yeah, topping the charts is cool and all but in the end the music is what matters.

You actually  missed the part that Str8 males validate  female artist  based on who is sexy enough, why do you think sex sells ? Do you think women are selling sex to gay men and other women

Yes they are. Straight men obviously don't care about pop stars dressing sexy in music videos. Why? Because pop music is too camp and kitschy to like. Gay men love to see sexy women being fierce and "slaying". Do you think straight men are watching music videos of Stupid Love over and over again because she's dressed in a skimpy metallic bikini? No, It's gay men and women that are watching that, with women wanting to see how pretty they can be with their hair like hers, and gay men practicing the choreography to pretend to be like their fav. Does that sound stereotypical, maybe, but there's truth to it.

Straight men aren't buying pop albums because women look pretty on the covers, they're not watching videos for hours because of how sexy they look, they're not going out to see their concerts to see how hot they are. They have p0rn for that. Straight women and gay men love to see sexy and beautiful women dancing and dressing up. In pop music, sex sells to gay men and women. Lady Gaga didn't have a straight male audience until she took off those costumes, looked normal and made them fall in love with her voice in A Star is Born. I still know a bunch of straight men who have Shallow on their playlist but get embarrassed listening to Stupid Love.

So it's not that men don't like female singers, it's just they prefer for them to look normal and make relatable songs then to look fierce and sing campy pop songs.
