If you go outside of the stan world and Twitter and even more if you live in America (Canada, US, Mexico) (and maybe Europe too?) I feel like the general public doesn't know much about them.

Some of them just know they're a girl group and that they exist, but that's mostly it.

So if we take a WW scale I'd say B bc they are huge in parts of the world, which puts the balance on their side. But if we take only America into account I'd say definitely C.

If they heard of them some of them just know they're a girl group and that they exist, and mayyyyyyybe that Let's Kill Love song, but that's mostly it.

 

fam, they have appearances on GMA and late night shows. that is the work of interscope.  People know them. They have sold out arena shows, those won't be possible with the work of stans alone 

More over, their fanbase is very dedicated. They actually bought space on Times Square, New York billboards to just say Happy Birthday to each members. Not just one or two, but 11 of them, like shown below for Lisa and BP anniversary . Which is cute, also give them a promo in a way too, since Times Square is popular street in NYC. Not even LM have ever do that
