I find TF and ARTPOP cohesive as well, I just don't see what songs like "dope" and "Jewels N' drugs" are doing in ARTPOP but yeah
Cookie Tookie 10,546
TF, TFM, BTW are all cohesive. They have a specific theme and the visuals and sound really exemplify each theme.

Its a lot easier to make a cohesive album like that. BTW has the double amount of songs and still sound like one piece of **** (a good one, I mean the best one ever)

It told the different sides to fame, how that effected love, how she wanted to he viewed in fame... etc. Partner this with the EP, The Fame Monster which delves into the darker sides of fame, is a match made in heaven. Born This Way got messy. Joanne was cohesive and portrayed the message fine... but then we have songs like Dancin' In Circles, Just Another Day and John Wayne that don't really fit the album conceptually. ARTPOP was cohesive to an extent, but the message of ARTPOP kind of got lost and not many people got it. There's only one song that doesn't fit the album sonically, and thats Dope. Chromatica... I feel like this will be her most cohesive album yet. The way we have 3 Chromatica (assumed to be interludes) to break up the story into 3 parts is genius. So to sum up, I'd say The Fame coupled with The Fame Monster... but don't count out Chromatica it was and it still is, no wonder and yas, I'm also anticipating for those 3! can't wait to be fed
Electric Mary 1,051
Joanne tries to mix tame impala's lost female member vibe (PL) , southern belle realness (million reasons, grigio girls), cowgirl from Louisiana realness (ayo and John Wayne and) and indie rock chick (diamond heart) and y'all call that cohesive, okay then (still a good album though <3)
God Control 2,181
Without a shred of doubt, The Fame Monster. The most cohesive, streamlined, on point, diverse and still flowing within the theme. It was also the most artistic, the most Avant-garde and the album that actually goes with the strangeness of her outfits and image. It wasn’t generic, but it was appealing to a large number of audiences, it was dark, but not too dark, it was high budget and well-crafted. It was an album that deserved to have a companion film to it, or each track had its own music video. Such a sad missed opportunity, because truly, every song deserved to have a music video. ARTPOPSYCHOLOGY 6,270
Ya’ll might not LIKE ARTPOP - but the fact only 2 (myself included) people voted it as most cohesive is lying to themselves. Although a strong argument can be made for Born This Way. Joanne is by far the least cohesive

I’m tempted to agree, but the presence of Summerboy, I Like It Rough (great song btw), and Brown Eyes don’t necessarily, at least in my estimation, bolster the album’s central theme. Obviously songs like BDR, Money Honey, The Fame, Paparazzi are the most direct, but LoveGame, Just Dance, Poker Face, Eh Eh all at least touch on fame and/or the lifestyle that comes with it. zino 173
honestly she doesn't have one yet, even TFM is not cohesive at all actually I think that's the major reason why she never had a +80 album.
