This Guardian Article about Britney's music is actually disrespectful

When discussing In The Zone in a Guardian article about her music from yesterday, after mentioning Toxic, the author says the album "also contains Me Against the Music, a hip-pop duet with Madonna that was interpreted as a passing of the baton to Spears, though it wasn’t: the two women meet and sing as high-impact equals..."

To me this is disrespectful because anyone knows full well that the next most notable single besides Toxic is Britney Spears' own composition:

This pathetic author knew she would have to acknowledge Britney's songwriting and intentionally left that out.

What I don't get is why is that just because Beyonce can't compose music to write a hit, that means Britney can't???

And I CAN easily use Beyonce's name because you and all the critics have done it to Britney all these years:

Yeah, songwriting credit doesn't mean much unless there is evidence:  As Britney herself said about this worldwide hit: "... Like with 'Everytime' I wrote the whole thing from scratch on the piano. Musically there was no track or anything. I was just at my house and I did the whole thing by myself. And then I went and I played it for [Guy Sigsworth] and I just basically told him exactly how I wanted the song to sound. And he was so amazing because there's a lot of producers you tell them things and they don't get it. And you're like oh, that's not the right way. He got it just right. He was amazing. And so that song specifically, you know, I did everything"

" She had the root idea for “Everytime” (on her album In the Zone), and I could really tell that her heart was in it. I knew what my mission was. I could see the picture...At the time, Britney had started to play the piano a bit, and she could certainly play well enough to spell out the root chords. She’d show me what she had, and I would say, “Well, here’s how we could fill this out.”

It's absolutely worth pointing out because in the Guardian article she posts a link to a scrapped Blackout song:

If she could scour Youtube to find demos/scrapped songs, she can also scour Youtube to find out about Britney's songwriting:

And you can also add this composition that was a top 10 hit in six European countries which she is the sole credited writer:

So that is TWO sole compositions separate from Everytime on display, pertaining to the notion that composing more than one song better substantiates the claim of a songwritier.

And it's really tough to say Everytime' isn't impressive songwriting:

Had acclaimed Oscar and Grammy winning musician Glen Hansard (Once, 2007) wrote it EVERYONE here would deem it a MASTERPIECE.

In short, Britney really doesn't have anything to prove.

It's obviously not one song on her own, just one HIT song on her own;  As I specifically pointed out two other self-compositions:

(Credited as sole writer of this song that was a top 10 hit in 6 European Countries)

And there are likely many more unreleased self-compositions...

But your main criticism of her really does allude to it being primarily her own fault (or extremely terrible guidance) for either not starting her own label around 2004-2005 or at least re-signing a contract that gave her substantial more control over her image, sound and music. 

This would have prevented 2006-early 2008.

Blackout is probably her overall strongest album but the price of 2007 was immense and Blackout is arguably not at all artistically stronger than In The Zone.

Lastly, YOU ALL WOULD CONSIDER THIS AN UNQUALIFIED MASTERPIECE IF HE WROTE IT. PERIOD:
