Monsterxo 1,499 Posted April 29, 2020 Share Posted April 29, 2020 A lot of people refer to LG5 as a "scrapped album", but I don't think that's the case at all: - Gaga's direction changed when she put out Joanne, but that doesn't mean she disliked the original LG5 music or scrapped it. A lot of the songs on Chromatica have a dark element to them (pain, trauma, confusion) which were rumored to be on LG5. Some even have a spooky vibe to them which would match a concept like "Frankensteined" "Every single day, yeah, I dig a grave" "I feel the thunder coming down, won't you rain on me" "My biggest enemy is me, pop a 911" - A lot of songs were described as "earworms", which describes Babylon perfectly. - It was rumored that Elton John would be on LG5 - A lot of people are sad that RedOne isn't on Chromatica, but just listen to the "Rain on Me" leak. That chorus just SCREAMS classic RedOne. Maybe his production didn't fit the sound Gaga wanted, but I think Gaga kept the melodies they worked on and reworked them to create new songs. Thoughts?
