Eh. It’s not grooming, and the title led us to believe the lingerie thing was some weird sexual minor thing. Was obviously a joke that was also not obviously well thought out. 
 

Just a lack of professionalism on her part. For her to confide in a 13 year old shows her emotional instability. She probably thrives off the idea that someone truly liked her, and used that to help her through her divorce emotionally. She obviously thought his knowledge of the brand would help elevate her career back, and when it started to backfire, her emotional instability and lack of professionalism caused her to separate herself from him. Unfortunately her not handling the situation professionally, caused her to hurt this impressionable teen, who was just trying to help his idol. 
 

This isn’t career cancelling, but she definetely has a few lessons to learn about business, relationships and professionalism. Using a teenager for emotional stabilty and career rejuvenation is not going to work obviously. She also offered to pay him.

I wonder if this will lead her to end Miranda? It's clearly been failing and everyone seems to be much more interested in her personal accounts now. 

Maybe she can make the current tour she has planned a farewell tour.

Okay I've just finished watching the whole video, the only shady thing Colleen ever did was ghost him but that boy is clearly out there to cancel her for attention, she did not try to guilt him of anything, she was just expressing how bad it felt to have people hating on her. I mean, she was definitely unprofessional for leaving him talking to the hand and allowing Cory to talk **** about him after but like, das it. And that underwear situation is just ridiculous.

Why are people defending a YouTuber in her thirties with years of experience managing a YouTube channel, influencer personality, and character entrusting a MINOR with her entire image?

The weird ass lingerie crap aside, what sane person would, again, entrust a minor with their livelihood???  
 

Really, just seems like she’s burnt out and tried to take the easy route of taking advantage of someone for free service. Karma sucks.

I can see both sides of this situation...

On one hand, I think it's really weird and inappropriate for her to be talking about her divorce to a 13 year old. Like, why would he need to know that? Even if he was a super fan, it's inappropriate to talk about intimate details about your divorce to someone so young.

I also think that sending him the lingerie was also really weird. I get that it's a joke, and ultimately, I wouldn't put too much of an emphasis on that, but it's still inappropriate to send him that stuff.

In regards to the whole Twitter account thing, to be honest, while I do think it's sleazy of her to have someone else run the account, I can understand her frustration when it comes to the whole Meghan Trainor situation. Hindsight is always 20/20. Just because she said it was okay one day doesn't necessarily mean that she's eternally bound to that. She can change her opinion on the subject, and clearly she did after she got a lot of hate from that.

I do think ignoring him when he clearly wasn't doing okay didn't help the situation either, though. Like, he's obviously super distressed about the situation, and talking sh*t behind his back with her friends and other fans didn't do anything to help. She should've communicated more to him.

You should change the title of this thread, though. "Grooming" sounds heavy, and she didn't do anything to "groom" him. From the evidence here, it's not like she was making sexual advances. I just think that it was inappropriate of her to do some of the things she did.

I'm over halfway through this video, and so far nothing he is complaining about is grooming or even manipulative behavior. I don't like the way she made him her intern like that without any solid plan for idea for how the work relationship would go, but that's how Hollywood works. Someone with a little power likes an idea and impulsively rushes to make the idea happen.

It also is ridiculous how he turned the lingerie thing into a controversy. It was not hers. It was worn as a joke, they sent it because it was funny. It has nothing to do with being sexual. Jesus, this kid. 

The only thing I see wrong about any of this is her venting about the divorce to a 13 year old and having him look for stuff for her, but you're lying if you wouldn't do the same for Gaga.

No offense to the guy, but he has some serious emotional sensitivity issues. I say that from experience. Colleen was sharing her feelings with him when she started to panic about something, and he took it as an attack on him or her guilt tripping him, even though not a single thing she said could be construed that way. She was being open with him, and now he's looking at it as her being manipulative. This situation is blown way out of proportion and the kid needs real therapy, not a YouTube controversy. I hope he gets help.

I'm 19 minutes in and am going to take a break from the video for awhile. I might not finish it.
