She said she didn't want to release the album because of the virus to find a way to help, so let's be real: she did way more than we could expect of her. And since the virus will be here until early 2021 at the earliest, there is no reason she shouldn't release this month. She helped, now she can focus on her own work. 

Actually to quote her, she claims she will not release the album until we can all sweat and dance together on the dance floor. Expect a release date soon. This was back in March.

Of course she had to put a positive spin on it, but sadly, this won't be possible until 2021, IF we're lucky. Things are way different than they were in march, so I wouldn't paid that message too much attention.

I’m so surprised the album hasn’t leaked how did her team even do that?? I was sure it would leak around the original release date

It’s obviously what she wants but she knows NOW that the virus will still be here for a long time and can even get worse in the winter and she can’t delay the album in a year, and she helped so now is a good time. Plus many places around the world are opening up and are getting stable.

Maybe the reason is because physical copies have not been produced yet, as soon as they are ready in stores, a leak will happen any moment

Sis her statement was to mask the fact a structured campaign couldn't happen given what the pandemic has done and the label wouldn't make as much money, it didn't really have to do with COVID not being a thing or not. Everyone knew this would last awhile.

Do you think vinyls and CDs have been pressed?  If the album comes out on May 29th can they be pressed between now and then or do they need longer to be manufactured?

U can’t say she didn’t care about the helping against the virus, she did this whole even with WHO. And things WERE different back then. stuff got canceled a few days prior to them happening because people thought they’ll still happen. Obviously she wanted to do promo and stuff that’s the whole point of an era. But this album is club music, obviously she wanted to release it when clubs are open
