I think the whole “she doesn’t care about being a musician” comment is honestly dated, ignorant, and makes no sense. She looked super happy both in and making the SL video and has seemed to put a lot of effort into this album. It may not be a wild or crazy concept album like ARTPOP or her magnum opus like Born This Way but I don’t think Gaga will ever make an album just to make an album. She’d rather wait until an idea comes. An idea came, and out of it came Chromatica. I’m flabbergasted at her lack of communication as well, seriously. It’s baffling. But it’s clear the pandemic took a toll on her mental health somehow, she seemed to be really affected by everyone dying and getting sick and I think she’d be content with delaying the album as long as possible honestly. All of her energy transformed into the benefit concert and for all we know, maybe she wants to do more and her label is fighting her to release. Again, I’m reserving judgment until next week to make any irrational claims but I do think the situation caused her to get out of album mode.
 

With that being said, she could tell us that. Her note to us didn’t explicitly make it seem like the era was on “hold,” because she wouldn’t make us believe a tour was still happening in 3 months and tell us surprises are coming “very soon.” So SJW monsters should stop calling out every Gaga fan who is confused and hurt by the situation. They’re literally going off of what Gaga herself wrote over a month ago.
