It’s crazy how they’re literally not saying anything when so many people have already purchased the album. I get that times are difficult but an update takes no energy and the longer she takes the more frustrated fans will be. Not all of 'us', of course - but the mass body 'we' have grown into on Twitter, ect. It's clear she hates fan culture now. Her comments about the internet are, really, comments about her fanbase. We see that sentiment across all her team, too. In a way, Gaga created a monster in her 'little monsters' and it's something she has to deal with ever since. I think 'Mother Monster' loved having a group of people (strangers, essentially) love and validate her because she didn't love herself. This is basically the sentiment of 'Applause', too. Now, I think that Stefani no longer needs that love anymore. In fact, I think she thinks it's superficial. And, as I say, I get it. I think it's fair - I think it's a good thing for Stefani / Gaga. She's stronger, healthier and happier now and that's fantastic. I just think it's a shame she can't balance the two a little better like, say, Taylor Swift does so well.
