The collabs will indeed make a difference. Ariana will help streams, as will BLACKPINK, and Elton will guarantee some level of industry attention. The lead was successful (#5 is a good peak!!!!) and I think the next singles could be more successful if collabs. Gaga sells well on her own, but I’d argue Ariana is “bigger” in terms of hype & public appeal. So ROM could be her first big pop hit since Applause/DWUW. This. It's seems like a very carefully crafted album designed to be radio friendly, commercially successful and critically acclaimed all at the same time. The wait for this album is hard.
