That's a terrible analogy. In today's day and age, only "stans" have the time and the patience to listen to 4-5 minute songs from their fav artists. The casual listeners, aka the GP, don't stream songs longer than 3-3.5 minutes, especially the 18-25 demographic. In today's streaming age, shorter songs definitely have more replay value and more of a chance to succeed than longer songs. Like, that's a fact.
