PhantomOfTheDance 13,795 Posted April 30, 2020 Share Posted April 30, 2020 wow, really dancing through my pain, Gaga. i might as well start the hype for Lana's poetry album, or focus on Dua Lipa's connection to her fans during quarantine. i'm gonna go on a rant here, you can respond if you want to, idc. but here's my stance: this album is literally about dancing through physical and emotional pain, and if Gaga can't at least keep a connection with her fans, then i don't know what else to feel but slightly betrayed. i totally get that we don't deserve anything from her, but actually, we do. we're essentially her customers who at LEAST deserve customer service, like every other customer in every other field of business. imagine how she could've done a series of Gagavisions to get us through quarantine, or at least give us a ****ing selfie every once in a while. she could've sang in her apartment or something. instead, we get a Haus Labs announcement literally right after she delays the album and then she gives us the album cover and tracklist after they leak. as if we're really to blame for the leaks. it's kind of her fault for sending it to so many people. she trusts too easily and it sucks that she can't even trust her fans and keep a connection with them. it's hurtful to me because i always looked up to her, and i admit that i still do, but not as much as i did before. i always expected her to be different from other musicians, from everyone actually. she's what got me through so many mental health issues, through suicidal thoughts. but the moment we expect her help the most, it's not here. it's absolutely useless to me anymore. i know that i'll be changing my mind after she makes an announcement or releases something, but i don't think i'll feel as connected as i did before and i don't think she can count on getting my money, especially when she could be freeing up money right now by giving out refunds. shame. shame on interscope too tbh. I wanna hear speculations about songs, lyrics ecc...that’s one of the best part I think for example: what do you think Alice is gonna be about?
