They knew exactly what they were doing securing the nomination for Biden instead of other more progressive candidate, and its members said it themselves: they prefer another 4 years of Trump and low taxes to a progressive candidate messing up with their taxes. If you were a rich dude member of the DNC and you were offered the choice of Biden or Bernie, you would've chosen Biden without a doubt, because if you think, there's no losing here for them. It's a win win. Trump wins? Yeah! Another 4 years of basing our policies only on us being against them, while profiting from his low taxes. Biden wins? Yeah! We'll have a person that is compromised by at least one thousand different entities and will certainly maintain the status quo we love so much. So, there you go. They won't be humbled.
