The original cover is so much better especially with the album title being the name of a goddess. I like the cover they chose too, but the original is so much more epic.

Grimes is right, she should have left it, it drives home the meaning/concept of Miss Anthropocene so well  The "fairy painting her own boob" is cool and cute but not nearly as meaningful as the tattoos and world-stabbing, plus I love how the sword recalls the So Heavy... visualizer imagery and of course the We Appreciate Power video

I think the original one looks too handmade/fanmade (for obvious reasons) for an album cover, but it would be a perfect fit if properly rendered. Maybe if it wasn't so anime-y and better texturing? She could've given it a better chance.

I much prefer the original, but it doesn't fit with the album we got, they made a great decision on changing it. Now she can release Dark Souls and other nu-metal stuff with this cover

this is awesome but it suits a part ii or more ambient half more than miss anthropocene. this cover suits a rock or more indie album whereas ma is like 99% electronic.

I think if she had started with this imagery, and continued it throughout the era, we wouldn't be saying it doesn't fit. But she's like what? About to finish off the era? Even by the time she could have revealed the album art she had an image already associated with it. It's difficult to say which is better, but I do like both versions of the concept art more than the album's actual art.
