- 30 million women will suffer violence as a result of covid restrictions

- 13 to 51 million women who would have used modern contraceptives wont be able to use them

- 325000 unintended pregnancies in the best case scenario 

- 2 million girls and women will suffer genital mutilation for the next decade, when such practices could have been adverted

- 13 million additional child marriages for the next decade that otherwise could have been prevented.

Seriously the idea of partners and children being in lockdown with their abuser indefinitely is absolutely horrible! A family member works for CPS and they are unfortunately expecting an insane amount of new cases after lockdown ends

I did not say they are republicans, I said its the leftist version of what Republicans did.

I know it effects women, but it effects children, men, minorities, poor people, and everyone. Coronavirus is not a womens issue.

Nobody says it is. Nobody says lockdowns have to be lifted just because of this issue. But it is still important to make it known and be aware that this is a side effect of the anti coronavirus measures. Only if political decision makers know about the issue, they can try to do something against it in the future.
