What's important is that she did what she could later to make up for it. The way I feel is, she was in a really dark place during that time, and we can't understand what goes on in a mind of someone feeling the way she was. Maybe she wanted to get back at the world? Idk We're far from the Shallow now

Kelly on a track as sexual as DWUW. It was a total lapse of judgment but she’s learned and she’s apologized so that’s that.

I mean the Surviving R.Kelly documentary (the first part) premiered in early 2019. I don't think so, it was listed in Netflix's new section. But maybe it is, I thought it was new, but could just be new to Netflix. she/her/hers

Is it on her IG? Maybe someone could find it and post it. I appreciated the explanation she offered. I guess they thought the benefit of controversy would outweigh the negatives. But it didn't. And hopefully she learned from the fact that it came back to bite at the worst possible time (during the ASIB era)

I did a research now, well the first season of the documentary premiered in January 2019 and the second season in January 2020 , both on Lifetime! The Impact is a documentary about the documentary of Surviving R.Kelly and indeed premiered in Netflix US 2 weeks ago

It really does show the impact of the documentary. Yes it is a bit embarassing that she worked with him to begin with, but everyone does things they regret. she/her/hers

ICouldntThinkOfOne 215
Part of me always felt like this was only a feature with Kelly because MJ was dead and she wanted a controversial partner the media could never own, if it wasnt going to be someone who fell from grace, it was going to going to be someone on the verge of a comeback. ...turns out the media hit in the nail on the head with this one though. Part me of wishes she put the solo track on the Album but it will always be tainted.

Up to that point in 2012/2013 he was only accused of having s*x with 16/17 year olds and having videos/pictures of the girls engaging in s*xual acts with him. Not that that's much better....but he was acquitted of those charges. A lot of people worked with him after the fact and he ended up having a lot of success musically. A LOT of people thought he was falsely accused, and was just being hounded by the media when he was actually innocent. I guess Gaga was one of those people. All the extra shyt about R Kelly came out after Gaga did a song with him.
