She's really the new queen of POP and her latest album is probably the greatest album of the year so far.

I don't think Chromatica will have the same impact but we shall wait and see.

I still feel that despite all that manifactured success, she's still far far far away to be recognized as a strong name by the GP. Like she's not even on Demi Lovato level. Ask your mothers or random people on the streets who is Dua Lipa and see what happens.

Not in Europe! Demi is a no one here, almost everyone knows Dua these days

I love her and think Future Nostalgia is perfection and will be her magnum opus but her stage presence is rather lacking. What happened to "Electricity" Dua Lipa? She was phenomenal in that video!

The higher the climb, the greater the fall

Gaga herself has experienced this and then came back winning 6 Grammys over a few years, an Oscar and 2 golden globes and has the most awarded song of all time

so yes, if that means Dua has a similar fate then she shall fall

‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️BANNED TILL SEPTEMBER‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Hate to say it but Demi is a no one everywhere, she’s in the media but for the wrong kinds of things..

Lmao, she is way above Demis level, look at her numbers in streaming, sales, imagery, publicity , critics.

Pretty sure everyone remembers more New Rules than any song Demi has ever put out. Also, in Europe, Oceania ( and i am pretty sure than even in latin countries like mine) people remember more Dua and listen more of her than what they have heard in all their life about Demi.

And lastly, my mom does not know who Demi is, but remember Dua as "the model in that flamingo videos".

Her entire brand screams money. Poor girl, I can't wait to see her in 5 years reflecting on these times.

Gaga was very similar early in her career, lets be honest. Except Gaga maintained a sense of control and integrity

The fact that the fans will use it like "she's the biggest popstar" when we already know it's all about money...

Honey go sell out a stadium tour. Is she Madonna? Nope, she's the new big thing, nothing else.

¿Qué currículum tiene ésta tarántula?

Maybe in the US she is not THAT big but even here in Asia she is. I assume she is in Europe too. Will that translate to a solid pop career? It’s too early to tell.

I admire the ambition. It’s not just the label trying to milk her, she wants it too and I hope she gets it. That was the situation with Gaga during The Fame and granted that was a much bigger album, it shows how the creative and business side of things can pull it off.

Her music is promising. Call it basic or whatever but it’s one of the most consistent pop releases in a while. It’s not meant to be too deep and it’s fine. Given the goal she wants. Anything “artistic” could come later.
