I think she will go 'back' to the Joanne direction, but do it as she originally intended.

I don't know if this 100% legit, but Mindtrappa (a reliable source) has suggested that Joanne was originally more stripped back than it actually is. Apparently, Interscope rejected that sound and thus, BloodPop joined to make the songs more 'pop'.

She'll be in her late thirties by the time LG7 is here, and I can see her wanting to deliver a fully acoustic record on just the guitar and piano.

It would be predominantly ballads with a few uptempo tracks - but nothing electronic or dance-inspired.

'Come To Mama' kind of uptempo, I'd say.

I also think she'll deliver an opera album and a metal record, too, at some stage.

But after Chromatica, I can really see her wanting to dial it back again - so maybe they'll wait for LG8 and 9.

In whatever order, I think we're in for three 'different' albums again before she returns to 'pop'.

After ARTPOP we had C2C, Joanne and ASIB.

After Chromatica, I think we'll have similar - acoustic, rock and opera.

Here for it!

As much as I'm hoping for her next album to be punk, I'm 100% here for an acoustic album!
And I'm almost positive she'll explore opera, I think she said she wanted too at one stage not too long ago?
I had the same though, this may be her final pop album, considering she seems to want to focus on other things, so I'm hoping the punk/metal album is next, just incase she changes her mind on how much of that energy she wants to keep putting out.

I chose trance, I love classic trance and would love to hear her do it.

I would like her to do a stripped back sexy funk/r&b album or an old school disco album with minimal electronic beats. It would be a stark contrast.

i think it’s time she had a “sexy” album to celebrate her sexuality as a woman.
