Would you "listen" to a GGD member's music if it was just lyrics?

I notice that there are quite a few GGD users making their own music and posting it here and I wanted your take on how you prefer to consume it because I've been working on an album of my own for the last 7 months and I'd like to put it out on here. But I want to be sure that some people will definitely check it out. My issue is that I'm just a songwriter, not a producer. In other words, this "album" will just be a collection of lyrics set to existing instrumentals of other people's songs (I obviously realise the legal ramifications of that, which is why I'm not properly recording these songs to these instruments or making videos with the lyrics claiming instrumentals are mine, etc). I always get asked if I want to properly record but honestly, songwriting is just a hobby for me, I don't need to go as far as recording. I don't want to bother with making up my own beat which I'll have to keep recordings of or else I'll forget how it goes and I'm not very technically minded when it comes to this kinda stuff. Basically, I don't want any palaver, I just want to write songs, even if they're not to original instrumentation. But will you lot want to read an album as opposed to listening to it?

I wanted to be a famous singer back in the day but then realised I couldn't write songs. When I started properly trying to in 2017, I've just approached it as a hobby that I keep to myself. I want to put it out into the world other than my closest friends because this is my first proper "album" made for myself instead of just writing random songs that would be intended for famous artists if I were a professional writer. My life is quite boring, so I haven't had personal experiences to make my own material with. But something happened to me last year that inspired me like nothing on earth and I feel like releasing this album very soon. Like, maybe less than 2 weeks from now, if I can get these final songs done and dusted.

For the record, it's all about my heartbreak over an ex-friend who's also a GGD member. Don't worry, I won't give away his identity, these songs could be about anyone and will inform him beforehand to confirm this is just a form of therapy for me, it's not to smear him, I intend to keep it classy. Does that alone make you want to listen? Please vote in this poll and let me know. I'm just going to suddenly drop this release on a Friday very soon, it'll be somewhat of a surprise. I'd like to know that it'll definitely be worth my time.

TL;DR -  Are you prepared to "listen" to my upcoming album that will consist of nothing but written lyrics to existing instrumentals that's all about my GGD ex-friend?
