I truly know those topics have been discussed here FOR YEARS!!!

All we have to do is not pay attention to that people, because I think they are just trying to get our attention. Everyone has the right to have their own opinions, of course, but it gets boring when daily we have the same conversations that get us to literally NOWHERE. Let's just focus on the good stuff and enjoy. Don't let others ruin the fun for you!!

I mean I love Fame/Fame Monster/BTW/ARTPOP and even Problematica from what we have heard. I don't hate Joanne but I don't like that whole era either although Ayo and Million Reasons and Super Bowl are my faves. But you right on if anyone enjoy it, just skip my opinion and I'm fine with that and you will be less irritated also. I have no comment on attention seekers but sometimes just because people express an opposite idea doesn't mean they're looking for attention though. But please let those opinions die if you think it would ruin your fun. GGD would be a lot happier place then

To be honest those reputation does not mean much but seeing people got personal attack because of some new, superior acting members get on my nerves. Hope you feel better though.

I agree with you, of course expressing opposite ideas has nothing to do with them looking for attention, but sometimes it's always the same people saying the same negative things. Those are the attention seekers (Chromarica tribes/hauses teas ), in my opinion, and their goal is not to express their ideas, but trying to have successful threads knowing a lot of people will be triggered. Like, we know maybe some of you didn't enjoy Joanne, and that's completely fine, but let's move on, there's no need to create a daily thread stating what we already know. That's my whole point.

And of course, people who get triggered are somehow part of the problem, because, as you said, if you have a different opinion, there's no point on me trying to force you to accept mine, right? Of course I can say I don't agree with you, but that doesn't mean there's any need to have  a 2000 pages thread discussing it because obviously we don't agree, and most importantly, we don't need to always agree. So, if there's a thread and you want to express your opinion, awesome, that's what forums are for, but there's no need to keep on discussing something that's going nowhere, because, for example, as much as I enjoyed Joanne, that's not gonna make you like it more. And that's fine.

I am a little monster and a practicer of Kindness.  It feels like many people on the internet, whether it is here or twitter or instagram, just all over social media (and unfortunately, especially in gay culture/community) practice shadiness and c*ntiness, and defensiveness, being dismissive of other perspectives or opinions, blah I could go on and on about these kinds of issues.

what I dont understand, is how a Lady Gaga fan site could be full of people who seem to actively and deliberately practice the exact opposite of Kindness.

and im sorry I don't mean to say "full of people" because there is actually a lot of great and respectful members here and they should not go unrecognized and you're right, we shouldn't focus on the negativity and we should look more at the positivity. however, it is hard to do that when there literally is just more negativity sometimes it seems.

People have too much free time now during quarantine so we can't not keep up with them all though. We can't not change people's belief especially by replying or attacking their view on internet. And really, we can not force everyone to think like the way we do. If you see too much negativity on here, try to go out or at least don't fall to endless quarrels because it's gonna drain you out badly. Everyone has their ego, how many time that you fight with someone on here and they say "I'm sorry I'm wrong?" Create more positivity and find fun for myself is what I choose to do now. It's a lot lighter for the head and the heart.

Overwhelming kindness is suffocating tbh, we don't need that. There is time and place. 

It's like drinking way too sweet of ice tea that by sipping it already make your teeth tingling. Like I'd need a dentists quickly each time I sipped it. We don't need that kind of counter corrosive stuffs. 

Besides, had been living in gated community of L.A. before moving out, makes me distrust and always question the motive behind someone who is way too kind as if they are not human anymore. Cos those people are super plastic here. They just did those kindness stuffs for show. They don't even talk like a normal human anymore. I can't trust people like that. It is always a facade from something really messed up. Hence, I value realness than that, honestly. 

I don't need someone who will sugar coat things just to be kind, and not to make me feel some type of way, F that enabling stuffs. It is super cringey. If I took a bad decision and did a bad haircut, I'd rather have friend to tell it to me directly, so I won't do the same mistakes again, than telling me all that "everyone is beautiful" nonsense which is so counter productive. Nobody gonna improve from having that.

Be kind, but please don't be extra about it.

Haha yes. Go ahead and express your feelings. I make this thread for the people who only see negativity but forget about the fun though. I'm not asking everyone to be a saint, just hope that whoever is suffering would look on a brighter picture.

I think spreading kindness and advocating for respect is harmless  of course we don’t wanna be forcing it down anybody’s throat & no one should be dishonest when it comes to being kind or be fake about it!  I agree w you- if someone has a bad haircut no one should lie to them and tell them it looks good LOL they should kindly say “gurlllll what did u do LOL” haha 

i think I see a lot of people being extra- but sometimes I do see ppl being extra shady, rather than extra kind.

 

Kindness is what Gaga wants & proud to be a daily practice of kindness and I hope more people will join Gaga in the effort to make the world a kinder & braver place
