Are You A Little Monster or A Slave for Negativity?

It triggers me how members that joined like 3 weeks ago is considered a senior and they start acting superior to the other ones. I'm also a long time fan that been on this site for nearly 10 years. Actually I still find the fun here and I think it depends much on people perspectives to see that our site nowadays is negative or not. I've also been let down by Gaga so many time but I'm still on here because I believe in her core artistry, her creativity. I still love her. 

What I realized is that because before, Gaga has always been controversial, the General public constantly harass her so the Little Monsters and Gaga has the same BIG enemy that's the public. We try to protect her at all cost and I believe we'd still do if she's in the same situation. That's our sympathy take on the problem.

Now, as she's more in public favor, Little Monsters and Gaga don't have any shared, BIG enemy like before. Fans focus more on what she's been doing and become more critical. That splits the fanbase into half. Little Monsters now treat fans who are critical as the new enemy and fight back like what they did to the general public. They will defend and try to protect Gaga at all cost, thus caused the never ending negativity on this site. Because Gaga is not a total saint that would satisfy everyone every time.

Just like the fight with general public at old days, it would never end up showing who won over who. We can't win people emotions and opinion towards our idol. Gaga is the only one who has the ability to do that. She's the one who put herself in the public favor again, not us - the fans. So there's no point in trying to change the other fans' mind about Gaga now because it's not gonna happen. Gaga will be the one who do that. We're all here because we love Gaga that's for sure, just don't expect that love to be some kind of eternal, unconditional love that has to be on 100% all the time. We're not machines set up for an always-on love mode to our idol, let people have their let downs and opinions. If you love her, try to keep on doing so, that's what keep some hardcore fans on here till today. Fighting over other fans brings no good to both sides and Gaga but instead fuel the ongoing "negative" situation that we're all experience now.

To be honest, I don't feel really bad or that the fan site is full of "negative/fake fans" at all.  I've been here lurking long enough to realize that the site and the fans grows naturally in their ways. The reason why some people are seeing so much negativity is mostly because we just keep focus on those negative comments and forget the fun. I agree that any one who's constantly being a jerk should be kicked out, I met a few but that's only happened back when we have the fight with Madonna and Katy Cats, they're true anti fans. I don't see any people like that at least for now. There will be someone with an opposite opinion but they're not always like that on everything. I may come into quarrels with fans here on some topics but on other threads they're still all nice human beings and they still love Gaga after all so why hate them though? Because they did not agree with my thinking? 

You see what you WANT to see. If you think it's all negativity then it is for you. You has the total control of your mind to focus on happier things if you want to the the positivity. This is all virtual, it's the internet, it's not your real life so don't let your day be let down by something not physical. Don't be sad or hold anger over someone you barely know in reality. It's not that serious everyone!

 

Hope everybody keeps our cool and love at the end of the days. Hope whoever's not satisfied now will be satisfied sometime soon. Love towards all.

Yes me too  The truth is we still stand by her and support her on other things. Disagree with 1% of her work but still support the other 99% don't turn any body into "fake" fans or anything.

If it makes you feel any better, I've talked with admin about changing the rules for the whole "senior member" thing, so that we have different titles for different rep points/tenure.

I've been reading Gagadaily and stanning Gaga for years (since Poker Face), but I had not started to interacting with people or giving my opinions here until the pandemic hit and quarantine started. I kinda loved just reading everything but somehow quarantine motivated me to start posting.

In this short time I can say that I really feel more connected to the forum and I realized that some people love getting attention from us by saying negative things about Gaga, and for some of you out there it's impossible to just ignore them. Everyday there's a new thread about how bad it is that Gaga delayed Chromatica, about how poorly has aged BTW, about how let down some people felt during the ARTPOP era, about how they feel Gaga was not genuine during the Joanne era, among others. I truly know those topics have been discussed here FOR YEARS!!!

All we have to do is not pay attention to that people, because I think they are just trying to get our attention. Everyone has the right to have their own opinions, of course, but it gets boring when daily we have the same conversations that get us to literally NOWHERE. Let's just focus on the good stuff and enjoy. Don't let others ruin the fun for you!!
