Her singing, the production, the lyrics, that modulation at the end. The whole song is... it's just the perfect ballad. I can't even begin to say how much I adore this song. Perfect production, perfect melody, just perfect. Imagine if this was in ARTPOP and J&D wasn't.. This would be huge if it was a single. Whatever, I still enjoy it, very much. And of course, this... So deep, so beautifully put, so bitter... I love her pre-Fame semi-professional songs as well, the writing there is impeccable as well but I love her ballads so much and because her albums are always revolving around a concept, she doesn't put a lot of ballads in them. And when she does, they are always far away from being acoustic (even Dope was produced heavily). So I appreciate her unreleased ballads very much.
