I hated when Gaga said she had a Coachella set planned, that was so unnecesary, as if the album postponment wasn't disappointing enough she had to reveal that, and it kinda makes me think she won't do it anymore, later on that letter she said she would still share "some" of those surprises. I hope she doesn't talk about it anymore unless it's to ANNOUNCE the release of something, performing or attending somewhere. Bringing the dead body out of the coffin just to show it's dead is unnecesary and it makes things worse.

It was a mistake that Interscope delayed the release of this album for an eternity even way before the pandemic problem arose. Now the debut of this album has gone bottoms up anyway. Whoever is in charge of making these decisions in Gaga's career is a CLOWN. I know no one could have predicted this, but mistakes were already made before the virus. 

I am glad Gaga is focusing on what matters now though with her charity work/fundraising.

i've been thinking about this a lot lately. Single should've come last august and album should've come in October or November. She/interscope really couldn't get it together to have the album ready by then?

I hope this album cycle is a lesson to her and other artists on the consequences of wasting hype, trolling your fanbase & sitting on material for an entire year only for your era to be D.O.A from endless leaks and cancellations. This is what happens when you waste time...foolishness occurs that screws everything up. I would say she played herself but she's made it abundantly clear she couldn't give a rat's ass regarding her Pop career thanks to her newfound acclaim among senior citizens so its whatever.The real tragedy here is the fact that this project was the fanbase's last shot at witnessing a GAGA comeback era. Hopefully the music itself is worth the 7 year wait because its literally all there is to look forward to regarding this record rollout at this point.

Gaga and her manager opted for the prioritisation of the celebrity with the big bore that was the campaign about a love story between her and her co-star, and then HL after that, not to mention the out of nowhere biggest hits gig, Enigma. Maybe it was a bad move ultimately, big monetary earnings aside.

- Mini movie was never confirmed. And I could imagine she wasn’t still filming it in March since she’s been working on this album and had the idea for the theme over a year ago. Only thing that’s been affected filming wise was a music video. 
 

- Apple performance can still be filmed just without fans, not sure if they’ll do that but I hope they explore that option. 
 

There are things her video editing team could’ve put together with unused footage. Photoshoots from 3D models used from Paper. Interviews she didn’t plan on doing. Webcam interviews. And the two finished videos can still come out. Instead of thinking back to what could’ve happened it’s time they start executing the new vision given the circumstances. It goes without saying she planned to be present and her silence was due to them probably thinking what they were going to. They decided on the delay a month ago so I’m patiently waiting to see what they do now. Because this silence ain’t it when you have GMA giving you free promo and the album trending Iike every other day on Twitter. A promo single tonight would’ve been the move. Sadly if rumors are true we have a nonsensical remix and then the era restarting in two weeks which is too late imo

Was Coachella totally cancelled? Last I heard it was just pushed back but that was a bit ago.

They just need time to revise the promo schedule. Things are really uncertain atm. One day it's "hey everything's going to be fine by Fall!" The next it's "CLOSE EVERYTHING DOWN UNTIL 2022!"

At this point I'm just praying this album doesn't leak and she's able to release it when they have a revised plan together.

How can fans or even the GP be hyped for an album Gaga refuses to even talk about or hype in the slightest...even with leaks she doesn't say anything...she's already over the era before it has even started like her and the label just gave up...it's really disappointing

Imagine how she feels though.

 

She obviously cared a LOT about this album. The promo was unlike anything we’ve seen in recent years for SL. And in the month before COVID we got FED - music video, interview, paper magazine all in like 2 weeks. 
 

I think her label is deciding what to do because frankly it wouldn’t make any sense to do all the promotion AFTER the album release. Like there should be tons of buzz then BAM! Drop the album.
