Chromatica Vinyl

So far we have seen four different vinyl options for Chromatica, including:

- Milky Clear (Standard)

- Clear/Translucent (Website Exclusive)

- Silver (Urban Outfitters/UK/Exclusive Store Retailers)

- Clear Picture Disc (Website Exclusive)

for every picture we have seen so far, it seems that every vinyl is going to be housed in a clear sleeve with a sticker on the outside. The picture disc has a clear sleeve in the picture, same with the clear vinyl, and from the looks of it on every website I've seen, the milky clear vinyl uses the same picture as the clear exclusive one on the website. The only picture we haven't seen for the vinyl has been the silver one, which used the temporary art on urban outfitters, which has since been taken down, although, on Rough Trade's website, the milky clear and silver vinyl are both listed as "Housed in Plastic Case with Sticker".

This basically goes to show that almost every vinyl edition we have of Chromatica so far will not have a real sleeve with the artwork on it, just plastic. With the album being 16 tracks long, and every other gaga vinyl except for TFM having 2 vinyl records, will they just have a folded plastic sleeve with two discs in it? Will they just have one disc and press all 16 tracks on two sides with horrible quality?

In my opinion, this is really dissapointing as a vinyl collector/ fanatic. The sleeves of records are what I appreciate most, especially when the album artwork is beautiful - I'm feeling this is a huge missed opportunity for Chromatica. As a non- gaga fan, who would walk into a store and want to buy a vinyl with a clear sleeve and a sticker rather than the gorgeousness that is the album cover. I don't understand how with 4 different vinyl variants how they couldn't even make one have a real sleeve?

Discuss!

edit: is there any way we can start a petition/convince bobby that it will sell better (which it literally will), so that they can release some exclusive with an actual sleeve with real cover art in all it's glory?

It will probably be two discs, Madame X was also released as picture discs in a plastic sleeve and it's 2 discs

It really is disappointing... I was super duper excited to hold a giant Chromatica picture in my hands. But I'm thankful that Chromatica has a vinyl on its official release :)!!! Also probably will be two discs in a gatefold plastic PVC jacket

I love the picture disc, it's very beautiful but I hope there's at least one edition in a sleeve with the album cover.

I think there's really a missed opportunity with all these editions - she could've had an alternate cover for each tribe and the vinyl color corresponding to the tribe, with the standard one being the main cover with hot pink vinyl.

I'm gonna end up being stuck purchasing the picture disc vinyl, since the only physical purchases I make for her are on vinyl.

Why have a beautiful album cover but not use it? :saladga:

Can we also get them to release the fame monster with a sleeve. They wasted the perfect opportunity for that with the 10 year anniversary.

Maybe Bobby can make it a record store day exclusive... also born this way standard cover needs to released as a vinyl one day

I'm buying the hardcover deluxe version anyways and maybe a picture disc as well, I'm more of a cd collector anyways.
