All those years of counting YouTube stats, seeing what single is Gaga’s most popular based off views... It took 10 years for BR to reach 1 billion views. Shallow a year and a half for 800 Million... now Sour Candy is just gonna come in and WRECK those hoes :selena:

I just googled them and they only have ONE video a billion views tho.

It was released less than 2 years ago though... and the fact that this song will bring in not only BP stans and Gaga stans... I don’t doubt it’ll be Gaga’s highest viewed video lol

If it had a music video and of Dua was actually #1 BBH100 popular 2 years ago... it would’ve done great

The song was bad and annoying and Dua makes numbers with her hits, not with a track from a rerelease of a 2017 album

But look at how big the views are.

They have 7 music videos.

DDU DU DDU DU has one billion, while Boombayah and Kill This Love has over 800 million, As If It's Your Last has 700 million, Whistle & Playing with Fire has 400 million (better yet said, nearing 500 million) and Stay has 100 million.

I'm like some kind of supernova

Dua Lipa is less popular than Gaga, but streaming and Youtube is a platform where she is doing good and she did have attention around that time with New Rules, IDGAF, One Kiss being hits. Especially in Europe. Nobody prevented the song from being another one.

Bad - subjective, I enjoy that song and many do. It  wasn't a track for her re-release but a standalone single, the re-release happened after she released many singles and her team wanted to inflate her Spotify numbers for her debut album.

Plus, as a correction - she makes numbers with Don't Start Now.
