When we all heard it we thought it was a concept demo. So basically that means we thought it was a good foundation

It came out... and it was still a solid foundation :awkney:

Personally, I ended up getting my life because it grew on me but I understand why its not really ever clicked with the GP. I love the 80's and the Gaga feel but it's more like a radio hit (which is definitely what it's become) and one for the fans. A shame it didn't become a smash but that's life! :flower:

Exactly what you said, but lets be honest, people are  not into this kind of pop nowadays, everything trending is mostly trap, hip hop and rnb, dua lipa is having the success she has because her music has a lot of quality,  i belive stupid love would ve take off on summer and pride, but thats now cancelled :(

Correct

It's not easy for women in pop. It's not 2010 or 11, Britney isn't a viable competitor anymore.

Most pop girls flop with that sound now. So in that respect Gaga is no different. Shallow brought something different to table and her ballads are what is seen as quality

Dua gets an eclectic mix of 80's, soft vocals, good instrumentals, and works with the best of the best (Warner bros had involvement with ASIB - Dua's label).

Gaga I think has more creative control than her peers, and has been away from top 40 for so long, she kinda went back to when she last truly smashed in pop (2011 +2013) and started from there. However, that is fine for creating a song for your fans, and something that isn't bad on radio when you're beloved by the GP like Gaga is, but it's not gonna smash hard. In essence, Stupid Love is a great promo single but a missed opportunity for your return to the pop landscape - start building new and show them how fresh you can be, just like all those years ago, instead of using old bricks.

So I feel she basically she went back to Dwuw and BTW and accidentally created something dated in the process. However it is a great reminder for audiences to remember who she is.

Still love the song though.

Stare at the Chartster in the mirror they talk to me too. #StreamFunTonight

I love this song so much! I never listened to the leak, so it was new for me when it came out, and I loved it. If possible I think I love it even more now. I don’t listen quite as frequently just because once a song has been out for a little while you tend to not listen 24/7 nonstop like when it first comes out, but I think it’s so much fun, so energetic, it feels so joyous, and the choreography really represents the celebratory sound. The video is also great and just overall pleasant to watch. I think it’s an excellent lead single!

I love the song since the first time I heard it.

I am a fan since The Fame Monster was released, and I distanced myself from Gaga when se released ARTPOP (for many reasons). So it was a nice surprise when I first listened to Stupid Love. I am glad she is making this kind of pop music again.

The video is not the best of her carreer, but it is fun to watch and that's what I expect from a pop music videoclip.

I think this new era is going to be fun, Gaga seems happy and I am happy for her too.

The world terror organisation are the bad guys tho. They have locked everyone up and Gaga is making videos defending them. They have probably killed millions with this and over the decades. Possibly tens of millions or hundreds of millions and trashed the lives of many more. They are racists and especially hate women and girls. :tea:
