CommonWhiteGirl 1,039 Posted April 21, 2020 Share Posted April 21, 2020 I've recently been getting into John Oliver in my time of quarantine boredom and I've discovered this man is actually incredibly brilliant. He basically takes really controversial issues (like vaccines, politics, mass media, etc.) and dumbs it down to a level that's incredibly easy to understand while also making it humorous and entertaining. I should probably note that he's a late night comedian and not a journalist. His recent videos on COVID-19 are actually incredibly helpful in understanding the severity of the issue politically, socially, and economically. I'm linking the series in the spoiler below and I would highly recommend checking them out along with his other videos because they're honestly more informative and accurate than anything else in mass media at the moment.
