EuphoricVibez 9
Besides, Gaga has always had a message that she delivers strongly throughout each era whether it was The Fame, The Fame Monster, BTW, ARTPOP, or Joanne. That's just how she is, and it's not gonna change, so you're more than likely going to have to deal with it. He/him/his

I think she's went thru a lot mentally and physically and pain whether physical or mental is very hard to cope and u start to think very hard about life and the meaning of ur life compared to others, what good u are doing in this world and that's the transformation she's been having and she obviously figured out that helping others helps her & doing what she feels is right to the best of her ability, helps her cope with daily pain. So to say everything is forced and a turn off is a little bit sad because u are not even living one day in her shoes I just think she has a lot more to offer considering how she went through all that. She knows better than anyone else than the answer to her problems and those of others is deeper than "everyone should be kind!!!" She kinda talks like the world is all bubblegum pink and all worlds problems can be ended by "being kind"... It reminds me of when you're sad and a friend tells you "It'll be ok!"... It's cute but it doesn't help Just now, EuphoricVibez said: Besides, Gaga has always had a message that she delivers strongly throughout each era whether it was The Fame, The Fame Monster, BTW, ARTPOP, or Joanne. Franch Toast 26,778
I appreciate her message, especially as an American living in a country ruled by a a cold-hearted narcissist whose followers are anything but kind. I find her message a much-needed antidote to the negativity out there. Sure, it may come across as cheesy at times, but I believe she is sincere, and I don't think it's a message that can be repeated too much. I do have to note the irony though of some people in this thread promoting kindness while being unkind to others. She/Her/Hers

Doesn't take away the good intentions or anything, but it's just a bit redundant. It feels like she's teaching kindness to elementary school students... It's cute but she should use more thought provoking words if she wants to have the impact she's seeking. She probably doesn't think she has to explain "be Kind" to adults but anyway "I think it's funny that I'm not allowed to have a sense of humour" - Lady Gaga
Alannah 2,986
No, because she's said it this many times and a lot of folks around these parts still ain't getting the memo.

Who do you think has heard her say "be kind!" and went "Oh wow, I never thought about that! Now that someone has put it that way I will definitely always be kind!" ? Also I'd like to note that I have been nothing but respectful, and your first reaction was to be passive agressive and sassy. For someone who claims they have learned from this message, maybe you should consider acting the part.

To be honest, I think she knows the world isn't all unicorns, and rainbows. She's said more than just "Everyone, be kind!!" She has said several times that kindness needs to be something we need to have in our lives, especially because the world is full of negativity, chaos, and constant rudeness. I don't blame her, plus it's also her way of going through her past trauma. He/him/his

It's cute but it doesn't help This is kind of how I feel. I am never going to chastise anyone for advocating for people to be nice to one another, but it does feel a bit superficial at times. I was more impressed by her saying we aren't all in this together, etc. when she was on Jimmy Fallon, so it's not that I don't think the substance isn't there. But it's a bit like her brand as well, so I imagine there isn't always room to go deeper when she does press. Edit: This isn't meant to be a dig either. Have you even seen this fanbase 😂😂😂 they literally bullied her make up artist off of twitter because they didn't like Gaga's make up at the Oscars. And they continue to bully her and others in her team. Y'all want to stick your heads in the sand about exactly WHY she pointedly asks her fans to be kind... Where did I say I learned from it? I'm in a thread where fans are complaining about a woman who has a kindness foundation wanting others to be kind.. I'm not gonna apologise for not catering to the madness. But you do you. Gaga knows all she can do is say it. "I think it's funny that I'm not allowed to have a sense of humour" - Lady Gaga
