Wasn't it theorized that there was a palette that was supposed to come out with Chromatica? Seems tacky in theory, but would have been tacky-but-cute if they got super creative with the packaging and bundled it nicely.

Same, I still wear foundation (I have a bit of roscea), and got some on my last (nightmarish and anxiety ridden) grocery trip to Wal-Mart two weeks ago. I felt frivoulous getting it, but it honestly helps boost my morale and makes me feel a little bit better. I still do my usual cat eye too. I do facetime a lot and my Mom who I love, but is a bit inadvertantly critical, has to still look at me...hell, I still have to look at me, so I totally get it.

I put on the bare minimum of makeup (which felt like so much after 6 weeks with no makeup) for my last team meeting and felt like a totally different person. It's a form of daily self-care I didn't realize was so important to my self-esteem until I spent so much time not using it. I envy your ability to have a usual cat eye; I'm sure you look fantastic with or without it! It'd look like I was trying relearn geometry on my face if I did my "usual" cat eye. 

Justice for a good Chromatica palette, tho. I'd love to see if they'd change up their formulas for a more rainbow-based color story.

Ooh, I've never tried blue lip gloss, but it looks super cool, and I'm intrigued. I like so many of them.

Are you sure about that? They pretty own all her imagery, the music used in the promo is from Chromatica and all her music is owned by them. Maybe they are not in a decisional position, but  they are probably involved in their business plan.

Aww, thanks for this sweet, thoughtful comment.  I needed it. Yeah, I've found putting on makeup and getting dressed (or in my case doning my best lounge/atheletic wear) really makes a huge difference in mood. Initially I was hanging out all day in my pajamas, but I would feel so gross about it around dinner time for some reason. Plus, my mom gets dressed everyday (she even goes the distance and wears jeans), so that kind of made me feel weird too, lol. 

Doing a cat eye used to be something I could never do right until I learned how to do one for hooded eyes (video here if you or anyone else reading this has hooded eyes). It was a game changer once I learned how, now I don't use as much eyeshadow to make my small eyes look bigger/elongated.
