A Thought on "Chromatica is coming in ______" Threads

Everyday there seems to be a new rumor thread with the title  "Chromatica is coming in ______" with the source being some random person.

A lot of times, for example now, there are multiple rumor threads with two contradicting dates at once.

These do nothing. There is no point in making a new thread every time some "insider" says a date. Obviously, considering all these "insiders" are saying contradicting dates, they probably aren't "insiders".

Gaga gave you a release date: 2020. She will release once she thinks it is right to do so. You attacking her and leaving comments about how you want Chromatica "NOW!!!" do nothing. She is going to release when she wants to one way or another.

All the threads with a "rumored" (I use rumor lightly as a lot of them are "I am an insider and you can trust me because I predicted Lady Gaga would release a song sometime this decade") dates are just going to get people annoyed. Posting a date that is not confirmed by Gaga does more harm than good.

Same goes for people pre-maturely saying "The tour is postponed". A lot of people bought tickets for the tour and are really excited for it, including me. Saying it will be cancelled/postponed before any official source says that is just going to get people who are already anxious because of the state of the world right now, more anxious. There is no problem in talking about if you think it will be postponed or not, but don't act as if it is confirmed when it isn't.

Let's be thankful that we got 2 new songs today, and that Gaga helped raise over $120 Million for COVID-19 relief. 

The album will come eventually. Trust Gaga.

Who would have thought, after all these years, even after she literally announced the album and a release date, we would STILL be having to make rumour threads and have no idea when the album is coming

If you have an official source, it's news. These are almost ALWAYS accompanied with an announcement of some kind from Gaga herself, or at least her team.

If you have an unofficial source, it's a rumor. However, you still need to share the source for a rumor. You can't just say "a person told me", otherwise anything could be a rumor.

"An important source on BreatheHeavy shared that Britney Spears is on Chromatica! Sje replaced Ariana Grande and the song is now called 'Hail On Me'. Don't ask who, I can't tell "

^that has just as much proof as half the rumor threads being made lately 

There's no name to gauge reliability, no context to how believable that statement is, so it literally means nothing and is a pointless thread. Mere speculation.

It is rumours yes and some have more weight than others. Certain members you can trust, some definitely not. I think we are actually good at weeding out the wrong, and right ones (eventually) .

I believe the date isn't constant atm. They want 2020 but they can't say June just with what's going on, there probably is twoing and frowing. But yes all this drives you crazy. Just keep an open mind and don't he too disappointed
