I just dont get why people are wanting to reopen now when the virus has just plateaued and keeps barely falling short of repeaking every day, and this is just with the inadequate testing we have now. Im all for gradually reopening once we greatly expand testing capacity and see a significant reduction in new cases but it's just not happening right now.

Colorado is supposed to reopen April 27th. Day after my birthday  who knows though. Can’t imagine it would be good for us right now.

I saw a meme the other day that was like 

"Once the quarantine is over 👀 I'm gonna let y'all go outside for a few weeks and breathe the air so I can see what happens"

We are making reservations in July I know.  And my husband says if they are opening up, we will go some weekend in May or June.

Many people trying to genuinely be careful will still get infected and many not being careful can miss it by pure dumb luck

 

The virus also only kills a small percentage and furthermore it does not care whether u tried to be careful or not when ur infected in terms of how severely it hits u

 

This natural selection trend in GGD gotta stop now. It's not gonna be that big a thing. It may attack these people disproportionately a bit more but only by a small margin

I still can't believe politics come above lives  I understand we need to re open the economy but I'd rather spend one more month on lock down than have this come back again in one month and completely undo all we've done.

Epidemiologists agree that phases are the best tactic! And then also monitoring for a lift and restrict where they lift, monitor then reinstate as necessary for lesser amounts of time to help businesses and lives. Not ideal but nothing is during a global pandemic lol so it sounds like she’s doing her best and listening to people and balancing concerns as she can

Definitely! I am EXTREMELY proud of my Governor. I know a lot of governors are getting annihilated right now due to people against the stay at home orders, but I applaud them. I think it's smart to do what she is doing, and to do phases. I think a lot of people are mislead and think once the state "opens" it's just ALL back to normal, and no it should not be that way. She said she's going to announce the start of said phases next week, because she is still taking it week by week as you never know what to expect with this virus. I'm so curious to see what they will be. I live in a massive hot spot, so I'm doubting I'll be back to work on the 1st, but time will tell! I just want this to work well so that we don't end up back in this spot in the upcoming months.
