Which kind of chart-run would you guys prefer for Rain On Me?

Born This Way: 1-1-1-1-1-1-4-5-5-13-15-16-18-19-24-42-37-49-56-57 (6 weeks at #1 but just 3 more weeks in the Top 10, very frontloaded)

Applause: 6-4-6-7-7-8-9-9-8-9-7-10-10-9-14-14-19-20-25-26-26-37-48 (14 weeks in the Top 10, longevity due to radio supporting it organically)

It would be nice to get a good compromise between them, but what if you had to choose one?

That’s what we obviously aim for but charts life is never easy with Miss Gaga. You have to choose an option between longevity or 6 weeks at #1 but frontloadedness

Reminds me I remember going holiday in France in 2014 and a song called 'Sur Ma Route' was always on radio

let's just be realistic about it, and take into consideration how the other single performed.

Stupid Love is a similar kind of sound to what's out there right now (max Martin listed producer) and was paid dust. Granted it was noisy with easy lyrics and no chorus but it was a particularly underwhelming reception.

having ari on the track doesn't mean #1. there's loads of examples of people collabing with who is hot and it not working

Rain on Me has a Top 5 debut on lock imo, and THE NEXT WEEK it may go #1 or #2 thanks to album boost too. Then it's whatever because monsters are lazy and only care about peaks

Probably me too. 6 weeks at #1 is like pure gold for our standards now, even if it’s going to be frontloaded.
