This 2014-2015 type of Julia Michaels/Bebe Rexha songwriting camp trash that would pop up on publishing websites under "pitch to Kelly Clarkson" playlists is NOT going to fly in 2020

This line is pure art, worth of a #1 debut with 800 points, and more than a year in the Top 10, omg YOU WENT IN FOR THE JUGULAR

someone wrote that More Than Friends has sold 4M copies in spain in both english and spanish wikipedia :flop:

stream one of the biggest songs of all time ladies :applause:

it was indeed a massive hit here, even if it was crickets in most EU markets, so my theorty is that it's 2x platinum, the hunty that updated wiki slipped a couple zeros, and it fact it has sold 40k

OMG that was Inna? :enigma:

I literally heard that song everywhere a couple of years ago, I thought Inna was another indie flop with no hits lmao

@La Rosalia any new tea to give us? I’m so excited

There’s a cute mini action tomorrow based on her catalogue. Nothing to get too excited about. And it’s still TBC.

See y’all. I told you that when A&Rs say this ****, a song is DOOMED. They always overhype ****.

No interscope executive has said ish about ROM and I wanna keep it that way :bradley:

The music should always speak for itself. No one has to hype it and/or come to its defense.

Good Intentions was initially forecasted to earn over 80,000 units in its first week, but its sturdy merch/album bundle sales shot that projection north of 110,000 by Thursday (May 14). Both figures underestimated the allure of NAV’s merchandise/album bundle sales, which pumped the set’s final overall figure to 135,000.

Wow. Merch/album bundle underestimation can cause a 55k discrepancy

Because it WORKS for other artists. It worked for Katy too. Never Worn White is a gorgeous beautiful piano ballad, and most importantly, it ignites emotion, something Daisies just fails too.

I'll just be frank with it, no shade or trying to be mean. Just how I see it:

Her career atm is summed up best by her team sticking their hand in a toilet, and then throwing whatever is in said toilet at a wall. If it sticks, it sticks.

No artistic integrity. She's doing this record because of the feedback from that focus group. Nothing more nothing less.

Stare at the Chartster in the mirror they talk to me too. #StreamFunTonight

Daisies is a horribly cheap acoustic-guitar power ballad reject that she ripped off of Anne Marie. Literally every D-list blonde "singer" has done that sound and it's going to be CRICKETS on the charts in 2020. The label exec who said it's her On The Floor/We Belong Together/biggest pop song of the year should be FIRED immediately. It's soccer mom music that the likes of P!nk already do with more soul and better vocals. This 2014-2015 type of Julia Michaels/Bebe Rexha songwriting camp trash that would pop up on publishing websites under "pitch to Kelly Clarkson" playlists is NOT going to fly in 2020. It just tries too hard to tick all the boxes of a radio-friendly anthemic pop and just ends up being painfully formulaic and calculated.

WHAT LMAOOOOO

I hate to say this, but it’s evident that Dr. Luke was her creative lead and once the **** storm happened, everything fell down.
