And what else can she do? more acoustic-like music, she's showed a lot of times that she's good at that. Actually my favourite "album" of hers is that MTV Unplugged acoustic one, which has some interesting versions. I wish she went back to that style instead of keeping on doing the same formula that we all have seen it doesn't work anymore

TLDR: I was a huge fan of her but I am not interested in her that much for whatever reason if she keeps on doing the same, maybe if she did music like this on Thinking Of You I'd restan

Dark Horse, Firework, Teenage Dream, ET....all songs that prove Katy is WAY PAST Ava Max in terms of pop songwriting. Yall really think shitty songs like K&Q (awful) and So Am I are on those levels?  Much less some basic song ass like Torn.

At least Katy had the decency to copy a comic book character, Ava is just a K-Mart version of Gaga and y’all EAT IT UP

2. I never mentioned K&Q or So Am I, I specifically mentioned Torn. And yes I think it's way better than any of the songs you mentioned.

 

And comparing pre-first ers to pre-first eras, maybe we should compare Ava Max to this

Torn is Better than Ur So Gay one of Katy’s worst songs ever? Congrats, vomit is better than literal pop.

Point is Katy’s hits and good songs are way ahead of Ava’s, sorry if you can’t see it.

Locals always pile in for a first week asking things like 'what's a midday' and then dragging people and getting defensive bringing up Gaga's Oscar and yummy to detract the discussion about the 2nd week drop
