It’s not even just falling short of praising Bernie...they come for you if you don’t worship at his feet while viciously attacking every other politician that has ever existed

isn’t it a rule or something that you’re not supposed to spam sad reacts?

What a ridiculous mischaracterization. Viciously attack other politicians? Calling Warren a snake and Pete a rat are different from the death threats, stab acronyms and voodoo dolls I’ve seen made after Bernie. And for what? Trying to guarantee healthcare for everybody in America?

I wasn’t talking about your cute little purple dragon ass. I was about about the group of members who are hell bent of painting Bernie and his supporters of being stupid and evil for wanting socialist-leaning policies to be implemented lol it’s the same group of 4/5 members that like the status quo because they benefit from it. But like I said, it’s all irrelevant and doesn’t really matter in the big picture so

Sorry, it was because oggagastan was "sadding" all my post and I thought that was also a response to my replies.

I voted for Bernie and had the biggest rush of adrenaline for like two weeks because I ACTUALLY thought we had it this time.  Then super tuesday and south carolina came to f*ck that up.  I'm not a fan of Biden by any means or the current status quo, but I do want him to win because I don't want trump to make scotus a republican super-majority.  I feel right now I've already moved on from bernie dropping out and feel the only way to fight for the left is to get trump out of office.  I'm not saying we're going to make progress electing biden, but it's a step in the right direction with our current options.

These are abhorrent and beyond insane. Not that I would expect someone like you to acknowledge these tweets.

No, they're not. I'll try to address them one by one.

Obama intervened behind the scenes WHILE BERNIE WAS STILL THE FRONTRUNNER. Explicitly to stop him. While MSNBC and CNN begged the party to do something to stop him. He didn't step in at the last second to help sweep Bernie out the door after he'd already lost; he helped to orchestrate the Buttigieg, Klobuchar and O'Rourke endorsement and signaled to the rest of the party that they should get behind Biden to prevent Sanders from gaining the nomination.

This primary was far and away more brazenly rigged than 2016. By a mile. The naked corruption in Iowa, the fact that a candidate that had more delegates than Biden dropped out and endorsed him for the express purpose of preventing Sanders from getting the delegate lead he was expected to get on Super Tuesday, the fact that the DNC threatened states after Super Tuesday to continue holding primaries in the middle of a global pandemic (which drastically reduced turnout, helping Biden), the fact that CNN alone was three times more negative in their coverage of Sanders after he won the popular vote in Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada, the fact that the entirety of the democratic establishment aligned behind Biden after Sanders became the first person in the history of the country to win the popular vote in the first three primary states, the fact that the party was openly threatening to take the nomination away from him if he went into the convention with a plurality of delegates.

There's no evidence that Obama pushed Buttigieg, Klobuchar and O'Rourke to drop out and consolidate behind Biden before Super Tuesday. None.

There was no "corruption" in Iowa except the fact that the IDP didn't train people to use their app. It was a new mechanism that was largely untested which is why it failed. There were paper trails for every single precinct. There were multiple recounts and each time Buttigieg ended up with a higher SDE count, thus being the final Iowa caucus winner. Sanders won the popular vote only, a metric not used to decide a caucus winner. Buttigieg ran up the score in rural counties while Sanders dominated in the college towns. The fact that Sanders didn't have the white suburban vote would spell doom for him later on.

The candidate that had higher delegates than Biden(Buttigieg) dropped out because he didn't have enough minority vote to be viable throughout the rest of the race. It made sense to drop out then. He wasn't leading in any of the 14 state polls and would have gotten crushed embarassingly with little to no delegates out of ST.

Super Tue was on Mar 3, when the pandemic wasn't in full effect. Yet Biden won big that day. Even later on, why do you think the older voters turned out to vote even during a pandemic when they were at the most risk of getting infected?

"CNN was three times more negative in their coverage" What? Do you define negative coverage by a headline or chyron you personally don't like? Because every candidate gets their fair share of criticism. It's not exclusive to Sanders.

There might have been a few elected Dem leaders who weren't comfortable with his nomination but a majority of them did say they would wholeheartedly support the nominee, so I'm not sure where this claim is from. Nobody was threatening him with anything. If he would have won the majority of delegates, he'd be the nominee now. He didn't.

So yeah, in short, these are all just merely conspiracy theories. If you want to read a fair, detailed post-mortem coverage of his campaign, Daniel Marans did a lengthy piece on it. Give it a read. For quick reading, there's a whole Twitter thread. Because otherwise you're just peddling unfounded conspiracy theories.

“Someone like me”? I’ve literally never seen those. They’re disgusting. I’m obviously not a huge Bernie fan, but I’m in no way condoning that and I don’t wish ill on the man. I just want the party to come together and get trump the fck out of office

I would have voted for Bernie if he got the nomination. I don’t like Biden either

They're quoting Twitter threads while we're talking about the political discourse on GGD. They're quick with strawman arguments. Don't bother.

Yeah I don’t think they exist outside of Twitter really, and Twitter is a cesspool. I don’t have twitter and I’ve never seen them

I wouldn’t put it past the republicans and/or Russians to be behind it to split the left

No worries, I can see how my post could’ve been misinterpreted lol sorry about that

and I fully agree, Biden > Trump because making NO progress is better than making any regression.

Although I still hate Biden with a passion. I fully believe he’s a bad person, through and through. But I would obviously prefer Biden over that wannabe dictator Cheeto, so imma just keep my mouth shut from now on cause all I’m doing in stressing myself out lol
