Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) said Wednesday that she's not ready to endorse former Vice President Joe Biden's White House bid, adding that the Democrats' teams have been in touch in the past 24 hours.

Speaking in a web interview with the authors of Politico Playbook, Ocasio-Cortez said that while she still wants policy assurances from Biden, in the end it will be important for Democrats to support the party's nominee in November.

"We'll see," Ocasio-Cortez said when asked about endorsing Biden. "We're having conversations with Biden's team, and trying to figure out what some of these policy conversations will look like. I would love to see the vice president clarify and deepen his policy stances on certain issues. But aside from that, I think it's incredibly important we support the Democratic nominee in November."

Ocasio-Cortez said she would like to see Biden take more progressive stances on health care, immigration and climate change.

This weeks been packed with endorsements already, and I'd think she'd want to do it when the pandemic calms down for the maximum impact,  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's crazy to me how much the Democratic Party is ignoring Tara Reade. Like, considering everything they've said so far, I don't know how they can just entirely ignore this. I would've thought AOC, Warren and Bernie would at least give her some support.

I'm not a fan of AOC but I don't think she should endorse until she is ok with changes to the left of his platform. She has alot of influence and she can endorse or not endorse when she is good and ready.

It's different for her than Bernie because she is not viewed as an opponent to Biden that is being divisive. IMO.

Girl please. Why would she win a primary if Bernie lost?

I'm not ignoring her. Every woman should be heard.

But we should know everything like didn't she praise Putin before all these allegations came out. Asking honestly.

Cause she said she wouldn't even consider a Presidential run until at least 2028. Times change my dude. Plus she already has Bernie's entire voting base essentially. She's pretty much Bernie's prodigy she just needs the experience and exposure.
