I haven't been on GGD for long but this is officially the most tasteless megarate i've witnessed :messga:

Soft, soothing, and succulent

Chromatica

We were all too easy on 4AM because she's a cute little bop with a lot of things going on that no one feels strongly enough about to rate down. :messga:

"Overrated" is throwing me off. I would've expected Violence to be out by 4, but it's the lowest rated of these 4. WAP & Delete Forever seem to be agreed upon by many.... but after MNID I'm shook.

@bowie1986This song is an absolute banger. The lyric "I am, like, begging for it baby" is iconic-- feels . There's such an improvisational element to the histrionics she amps up throughout this song, which fits with the lore that she just wrote and sang over a beat she didn't have to produce. The vocal performance is and lyrics are cartoonish, but she sells it well. And don't get me started on the choreography and the surgical masks in the video.

@tomsches Similar to SHIFTTE, when I first heard it was disappointed, because I thought, Grimes had turned her back on experimental pop and had gone full on pop, but it grew on me. It's a good song.

@Andreu Another of my faves, the song with the best production in the album. I think it's the most accessible song on the album.

@efrs291 BIG BIG BOP

@ororo munroe This song is an experience wow production is so smooth and good

@Sestri Levante Can't forget the first time I heard Violence. I was sad after my Billie Eilish concert, this song came out the next morning and I boped hard to it. I love the dance-hall vibe mixed with C's ethereal vocals, what an amazing song.

@littlefreakster Sounds way more mainstream than the rest of the album, and that actually is the thing that makes this song good because while it is not far from the album's theme, it is still a breath of fresh air.

@adterp One of my most listened song of 2019. I even learned the choreography from the video. Toxic relationships are my kink and the song speaks volumes to me. I must admit I've listened it so much that I might have became tired of it and quite repetitive isn't it? But it still slaps every now and then, this song makes me feel so powerful.

@Ctouf It doesn't sound like it but the meaning of the song is actually quite deep and important. The production is dope and I couldn't imagine any other lead single for the album than this one. I really love it. This is such a mood.

@BradleyCooperThe beat is so good. Definitely one of the more danceable songs. Fits perfectly into the theme of the album.

@Lois Griffin The cleanest sounding bop on the album. Perhaps it’s a little problematic that the song glamorizes violence, but that’s not something that I get hung up on. Although a bit subtle, this song also sees Grimes shedding some aspects of her signature sound for a more consumer-friendly style of production and vocal mixing.
