Once my dad got me listening to "To Cool" from the Camp Rock movie and I was DEVASTATED (but he didn't make a big deal of it). Oh my cousins were so much into rock n' roll so pop music were considered basic and tasteless. I told them I liked one Britney song (probably Toxic) and they were like "hm." Once an old friend of mine asked if I was into Gaga... I kept brave and said "yes". He paused for a second then asked: "...are u a f*g?" After that no one questioned my musical taste and I don't question either.
