The non musical artists will probably be sharing ways to deal with this crisis, share personal stories, share information provided by professionals, provide comic relief, announce artists, maybe tell the stories of those in the frontlines by providing voice over or things like that.

Leave it to Gaga to get this together, so proud of her. Hope she doesn't fall into a black hole after this. It's hard work but also good therapy and a distraction from all that's going on. Hope she stays happy and healthy during this crazy time.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

I wonder can people sign up to this or they have to be asked?

I know some artist are Gaga stans, I'm sure they would like to participate.

Anyway, I'd like to see Katy, Rihanna, Bey, Adele, Cher, Dua Lipa to participate. Some K-Pop stars would be nice, Blackpink or BTS.

i'm kind of bummed out with the lack of 'world' artists.  So many of these artists are useless culturally and politically and the lineup is very 'who can we choose that will appeal to the most aggressively boring people our world has to offer?'

If you want something like this to be significant, you have to choose people who are significant by their own merits, not people who make music strictly as a product.  Even Alanis disappeared from the lineup, who was the only person on this list, besides Gaga and Annie, I'd consider capable of making truly significant music and speaking about things in a way that extends beyond a very superficial understanding.

Put Bjork on there.  Give me Fiona Apple.  Courtney Love?  Joanna Newsom?  Peter Gabriel?  Radiohead, Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Tracy Chapman, St. Vincent, Yoko Ono ... but nope, we got Shawn Menes.  On this trajectory, I'm sure it won't be long until we get Alicia Keys performing I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy.

That bottom line of performers is way too niche and we both know that

That's what I've been wondering to. Especially with Gaga saying this is supposed to be escapism and sit-back-and-enjoy entertainment. If that's the case, that seems to open the door for anything and not just depressing ballads the whole time (which are nice too!)

With all this variety of artists, it definitely seems like it'll run the gamut. I wonder if the performers have been instructed on what to sing or if it's up to them.

Here for whatever Gaga decides to do, but the dream is first SL performance and surprise second song :flutter:

Agreed !!!
