He has a 50 year washington record of voting against progressive ideals, and when you’re president, you have no time to think. Which means once you’re in the white house, your views are locked.

Whats he gonna trust more, 6 months of democratic socialism, or 6 decades of neoliberalism?

I'm not saying that he will 100% do it, but at this point, what are we going to do?

Voting in more progressive congressmen/women is really the only viable option left. Our hope for having a progressive president is gone; I'm just saying that I hope Biden somehow pulls off more progressive policies.

I like that option. If the neolibs could do it from the right, so can progressives. Most Americans already agree w Medicare for All... Its like draining the swamp. Granted it’s through a straw and it’s not good enough and we should keep fighting for the big drain... but yeah we’re stuck w/ more incrementalism 🤢

Our hope for a progressive leader is seemingly gone for now, but I like that everyone relies more on each other. It’s the farthest thing from a personality cult

Don't blame him or us Sanders supporters if Biden loses.

Are you going to vote for him?

If no, why wouldn’t we?

I really need Biden to announce his running mate. I’m undecided until then.

When it’s not a Sanders endorser and the neolibs fail to unite the party again :billie:

I agree. Our hope for another "FDR" type figure is not gone, but what I meant was at this current point in time, our hope of having a progressive president is gone.

And yeah, unfortunately we are still stuck with incremental change, but at this point, it's realistically the only viable option for us. Let's elect more congressmen/women and then in the future hope to elect a progressive president!

Bc you have to earn votes with a good platform that addresses the major problems of the population. Convince people your platform is the best... and if you look at opinion polls, he failed to do that (thank god). If Joe Biden’s platform is trash, and he doesnt change it, that is only on him. Same w Hillary. Same w John Kerry.

I hope he elects a progressive VP. He wants to "unite the party", but if he really wants to do that, he needs to show it by really upholding progressive values. Do that by having a progressive VP. I'm tired of this, "We need to appeal to Republicans" rhetoric. The country is divided. It's been divided. Democrats will not agree with Republicans and Republicans will not agree with Democrats, no matter how you try to appeal to either one of them. You might as well go all-in and have a progressive VP. Republicans are already going to call you a "socialist" anyway.

Come on all you Bernie Bro's, get in line

Posts like these are maliciously inflammatory and literally do nothing to "unite" voters to back the nominee.

Who I vote for isn't based on online posts by a candidate's supporters, but if it was (like it apparently was for people who hated Sanders because of his supporters) you wouldn't be making me rush to the polls.

So Biden is trash, Trump is trash... god when does this lesser evil **** end?

“Omg who would you rather vote for, the person who murdered your mother, or the person who murdered your father 😋

Let’s respect people’s moral lines in the sand please.

Again with the Bernie Bros rhetoric?

Look, I can't speak for every Sanders supporter, but at the end of the day, I will vote for Joe. It's not because I agree with his policies or because I think he's the best to run the country, but it's more so a vote against Trump.

I've said this many, many times before. I think it is imperative that we vote for the Democratic nominee. I said this when Bernie was pulling ahead, when Biden was pulling ahead, when Liz was, etc. At the end of the day, the #1 goal is to defeat Trump. Unforunately, Bernie won't be the one doing that, but I just cannot stand 4 more years of that orange moron.

The sociopath who laughed about locking up poor mothers in jail and who still doesn’t believe cancer treatment should be free after her own mother died from it?

Keep it.

Isn't that what your fearless leader wants for America? For his followers to support Biden?
