China has been shady and deceptive about this whole thing since the beginning, and China doesn't give a damn about it's own people, or sacrificing it's own people to advance. Is it easier for you to change the narrative about accountability to hate? There is a HUGE difference between accountability and hate. No one hates Chinese people, and any racism towards Chinese people throughout the world is NOT OK. But the Government of China is a whole different ball game. They are never held accountable. It seems that everytime someone brings up issues about the Chinese govt on this thread, someone immediately pipes in and tries as hard as they can to change the narrative of the topic, from government accountablity to racism/hate- or, tries to turn the topic around completely to the slow response of the virus and Europe and USA. The conversation about the slow response definetely needs to happen, but the conversation about the Chinese gov't supressing doctors, silencing media, and delaying the news of the pandemic to the world, also needs to happen. You're allowed to be disappointed with how a government mishandles things, as well as call out people for making bad faith arguments...
