I don‘t know if I fully agree tho, Live Nation and Interscope posponed Billie Eilishs Tour, same label and company as Gaga.

Also a postponment can give people hope, something they can look forward too. Sure we could say „but this will lead to a even bigger letdown“. But isn‘t that kinda included in the definition of hope? What would be hope without the possibility of something not succeeding? By that hope is something bad?

Postponing to a second set of dates that also may not even happen would be even more disappointing. Not to mention that there are people in financial stress that they couldn’t have imagined just a few months ago who could no doubt really use the money back right now.

I think if gaga postpones the chromatica ball until next year we will be fine im a 100% sure that gaga will do this

however, I think when the vaccine comes we will see a lot of fallout over how it’s distributed. Obviously, 1st world countries have the power and resources to get them first, and the developing world may be hard hit with corona for quite a while. 

Health care workers and first responders like police, fire, emts will get all the vaccine earliest. Millions of doses just for all of them.

hope is a dangerous thing for monsters to have  

jokes aside i was more agreeing with the fact that given certain circumstances (unknown time of when concerts are starting, etc) it could  be cancelled.

of course, circumstances can change (seem's likely)--> outcomes change. It's a pandemic, we dont know if demand(selling tickets) will be met (a circumstance) due to corona's impact but at the same time, it's lady gaga. again its a pandemic, stuff doesn't have to be that objective,yes or no. I could confidently say that conditions will get better sooner than later and that overall stuff will align and it WILL happen. But I choose to expect the worse, but its to each their own.

Right. Yet other experts also said the US should experience 200-300,000 deaths and that’s been downgraded to 60,000. Point blank: it’s obvious the tour isn’t happening this year. That’s not brain science. But experts or respected publications should not be posting things like this so prematurely. Experts are also saying June/July for NYC to start opening again. Antibody test are being developed. Google + Apple are working on tracing technology. Rapid testing machines are being mass produced. Eventually the hospitals are going to be less impacted and all of this money being donated is going to be used to create more beds, develop more PPE, etc. it’s not going to be like this forever.  Everyone acts like the vaccine is the only thing that’s going to work to open things up. That’s not true. Has no one considered they can reduce capacity in the stadiums? Have people sit 6 ft apart. Eliminate GA or pit/standing room shows. Some shows are outdoor and not indoor which also helps. Have hand washing stations. Screening to get into the stadiums. Y’all realize how many politics are behind the NFL? You think there’s going to be no season until 2021? You don’t think the government realizes the economic impact of certain stadiums and what they bring to local areas? Let’s think clearly about this and not take articles like this seriously. Fall 2021 is absolutely crazy to me. Take it one day at a time.

Honey, 20 000 people died in the US already. You seriously think only 40 000 persons are going to die in the next couple of months?! At the rate we're going, we'll probably be at 60 000 dead americans by the beginning of May.
