I don't think his songs were THAT bad if at one point she wanted to make it lead.. Also she worked on this record for 2-3 years before she started working with Mark Ronson and only his songs made the cut. It's clear that she had completely different direction for that album before she worked with him. Joanne was recorded in a span of few months and she had 2 years worth of work before that that she for some reason didn't want to release. So I kinda don't understand why you're denying the existence of "original LG5" when those facts clearly tell different story. We don't have facts, we just have RedOne's words. My point is, if anything good came out of those sessions, let alone an entire finished album, it would have been released or used in some ways. "Telephone" was written during The Fame, when when Britney didn't want it, she put it on The. Fame Monster. "Bloody Mary" was written for The Fame Monster, didn't make the cut, but was still used on Born This Way. "Gypsy" was written for Born This Way and used on ARTPOP. And even "Angel Down", which was written way before Gaga started working on Joanne made it to the album. Record companies are interested in putting out material too. Look at Ariana releasing every leftover she could recently. The fact that it's been 5 years and we haven't heard a second of those songs and Gaga hasn't spoken about them at all is enough proof for me that nothing worthy came out of that session(s). Ronson began working on Joanne in late 2015 (source), which means it took about a year. She literally had one session with RedOne. Those 8 "songs" are probably just rough demos and ideas. This is what fans have been saying on PopJustice in 2015, before Ronson even joined the project: She's only had one (?) writing session with RedOne so far. I'm not expecting him to have extensive involvement. Rhombus, Feb 23, 2015. There is no "original LG5" and you will never hear a Lady Gaga and RedOne song again 🤷🏻♂️ Funny how in an interview with GGD RedOne said they had a lead chosen from this original album but it was cancelled (summer 2016) There was an album ready to be released. Also in that interview you gave Ronson said they officially began working on Joanne months after their first session when they met (and we have photo evidence that was in November). So no. Most of Joanne was written in 2016, apart from Angel Down. On top of that, what happened to all the rumored songs she was working on with Diane, Giorgio, and Nile Rodgers? I believe the album was close to being finished, and she did scrap it for a reason. This is only what I think but, I believe Joanne was a calculated move to change her public image prior to Superbowl and A Star Is Born. So she started all over again in March 2016 and made Joanne. Mark Ronson started working with Gaga on Joanne in late. 2015.

Embracing the torture, as I'm assaulted by my own thoughts. Like a locust giving birth to earworms. Eeeeew! This is a common state you're in when working, recording, mixing your own music (i'm sure it' happens also in a way or another, with any type of creative process). Anybody working like this, myself included has experienced it. Sometimes in the process, the musical part you're working on is looping endlessly in your speakers, then in your head and finally in your dreams during the night. It's like you find yourself under a sort of hypnotic trance. Again, this is not specific to Gaga, although she speaks about it and the locust giving birth to earworms image is such typical and great gagalien queen turn of phrase ! a great remix that might actually be better than the OG... Sorry... I can't get beyond the first chorus ! Wtf with the delivery accel and these f*cking altered chords in the chorus ? Not to mention the unavoidable and so worn ta-ta-ta-tata synthpop gimmick entering... This is techno lobotomy pure and simple. In other words, let's take an original and fine piece of work and transform it in hamburger ground meat for the masses. Shameless ! Late to the party but I got a diamond heart

They met a first time and spent long hours in a studio yes, but then they only met again in March 2016. She probably played him what she had (including Angel Down), they probably jammed, talked a bit, Gaga was probably starting to think of changing the direction and yeah. I don't know but that's what I take from what we've seen happen. Just my 2 cents.

Yes I understand that but I'm just saying that there were many songs she did for the album before the ones we got with Mark that were going in completely different direction.. Also I don't think RedOne would lie about that publicly.. She did songs with DJWS too.. It could be that those songs are not that good or she just didn't feel like releasing them at the time but I do think she completely changed the direction after she started working with Mark and that there is an entire album finished that was completely different from Joanne. Its like people asking for ARTPOP act 2 what's the point of discussing something thats never gonna be released? It just kind of seems like an obsession cause maybe you didn't like Joanne as much as what you thought you did, or you obsess over RedOne being Gaga's producer. Never look back in life, always look forward and to the future. Whats the point in wishing what could have been? Move on and look to the future Well future leaks would be hot tbh
