I love ARTPOP, but I feel it was so badly produced... I mean, I can barely listen to the final studio versions of Aura, Sexxx Dreams, ARTPOP, Manicure, the live versions from iHeart radio concert are so much better

okay ARTPOP maybe DID have jewels n drugs, the tracks don't flow, and is an overall mess including the surrounding era, but it was SUCH a place and time album for me and upon listening again it's too nostalgic to say its my least favorite.

on the other hand joanne exists with sinner's prayer, come to mama, and just another day......im truly so sorry and i get that this album is the direction she wanted to go in but i cannot stand it

I wasn’t a fan of Joanne. It does have some gems(Diamond Heart). but I think it was the furthest from her brand and didn’t really make sense. I hated her aesthetic(the pink hat, the horrible outfit on SNL at the time).  I would love for her to do an organic, personal album with a rock pop edge like “Jagged Little Pill” by Alanis Morisette. Joanne is an organic album of course, but I didn’t like that she went Americana/country-esque folk. She is not country. She is from New York; to me this was somewhat disingenuous. “Born This Way” was messier to me than ARTPOP. It had too many songs. The Fame Monster is her Best work so far.

So far 67 people who have no taste and are probably homophobes :bradley:

I shall be refreshing and taking notes obsessively - this is the most important research I've ever conducted

Disappointed but not surprised Joanne has so many votes.

I just can't get behind ARTPOP, but I refuse to call any Gaga album "bad" it just isn't my taste. Most (not all) of the songs are over produced and similar to BTW, the lyrics just...are not relate able and therefore hard to market said songs. Joanne was the cohesiveness I have wanted from Gaga but it also made me realize even more so just how much of a mess ARTPOP was.

Nooooow the itunes versions.....another story. Iconic.

It says a lot about an artists discography when her worst album is her debut, and yet it’s spent 6 years charting on the billboard dance chart.

Sorry Joanna but I’ll have to pick you :ohwell:

Not that I don’t enjoy this album but it’s defiantly the one I haven’t played as many as the others. I do love Perfect Illusion though.

As good as it is and especially was for its time, The Fame basically.

I would say ARTPOP or Joanne because in my opinion those albums don't have many "memorable" songs... I mean I can't remember the last time I listened to Joanne in full...

ARTPOP has better songs overall but the era was def. her worst, with Joanne she "peaked" with her singing skills and gave us amazing performances so yh :ally:

Joanne. It’s the least polished. Songs like John Wayne and Joanne are great, but the other songs clearly miss the mark and will not be remembered in the long run (unless it’s the infamous Million Reasons which has been embedded into our brains by now).

I don’t see how anyone can say The Fame, when that is probably one of the best debut albums of all time. It’s polished, unique, has such a clear and enticing concept, and will always be ahead of its time.

And lastly, it should be common knowledge that Born This Way and TFM are the pinnacle of her artistic work.

Voting for her two BEST albums that define her career? Whew imagine :bradley:why even stan???? :billie:

They're literally her worst musically speaking. The only reason stans go nuts for them is because they were the most profitable albums and had an almost bloated amount of promo.
