This event is still linked to the pandemic in a way though, since it wouldn’t be happening otherwise. Late night shows aren’t. I’m not saying she would deserve to get cancelled or anything, but I think a lot of the GP who don’t know everything else she’s doing would see it as gimmicky and kind of exploiting the situation. It’s just not the time to debut a new song unless it was written specifically for this

In my opinion I think a better promo strategy would be to do a cover, a piano version of an older song, and million reasons or something, and not promote anything at this event. Then when everyone’s thinking about her and loves her again, release a new song a week later
