People love to blame the real data. But if they think it's false, then they need to blame Trump for not getting enough tests to show off their precious 0.001% etc death rate. 

This isn't rocket science. You cannot show such drastic data until enough info is collected. It's basic knowledge and yet people are trying to use this as a way to downplay the seriousness of people dying. We're going to be passing 20k deaths today. And that's alarming.

Trump is also guilty for what is happening all over the world? 

US has made more tests than any other country and the tests /1m people will only go up if this continues like this.

The fact that the mortality rate is lower can be find in any serious article, but there are already some studies in Germany and Denmark that support the estimations.

Your comparations dont make any sense. 

We promote safe sex, but we can't enforce it. In the same way, we can promote safe distancing, take other measures, but not lock down an entire planet.

Who is even overreacting? Statistics are being reported. If you can't stand for that then I suggest you don't listen to any news. Because the adults are the ones trying to get this curve down. 

Hence the point of educating people of how serious this can get. That's what statistics show right now and it's obviously hurting many areas of the country. So it's better to be safe than sorry.

 

Honestly, if y'all are so comfortable with this being a non-issue then go ahead and get cozy with people at the store or feel free to sneeze/cough in public areas without using precaution.

This. Where I go for walks, the streets are very lightly used. But still a jogger or biker manages to pass me close, coming from behind, every. single. time.  And they are never wearing a mask while breathing hard. In their own mind, they are healthy and exercising, I guess. But then I get angry from the maskless close exercisers.  And the benefit of exercising outside just goes away.  To be fair, we have a relatively low infection rate locally.
