This makes me happy that Enigma and J&P was canceled instead of rescheduled like it was initially. Hopefully they'll keep the promise of having presale codes for previous ticket holders.

Ticketmaster in general though I loathe, especially in the US. Its disgusting how much they profit of of reselling and there by basically denying true fans the experience to see they're favourites. The whole reselling for major profit business, even fan to fan, is disgusting if you ask me. Just because its encouraged by Ticketmaster or because everyone is doing it, doesn't make it ok.

Ok sorry for my off topic rant. I just really hate TM

You’re right and it’s a corrupt system. People did sell tickets before ticketmaster and there wasn’t huge profiteering off pure demand.

It’s the only way to deal with this no refund nonsense from Ticketmaster

I get that businesses are having great losses atm, but doesn't Ticketmaster win a sh1tload of money, like, for real?

Ticketmaster is notoriously sh*tty to the point ever artists get annoyed with them (mostly how they don't crack down on scalpers). Prince & some other bands (including Pearl Jam) have tangled with them in the past, but they basically have a monopoly so we're stuck with the a-holes for now.

It depends. I accidentally booked a non canellable, non refundable, hotel room in Savannah last summer. When it became obvious the trip would not happen I was able to cancel the reservation without any hassle. Well even though I was able to cancel the reservation, the hotel wouldnt refund my money. So I reached out to my credit card company and told them the situation and they were able to refund me the entire purchase :reductive:

I believe the Rolling Stones (it was a major, famous "older" band) recently called them out for their inability to crack down on scalpers (lol inability...they let scalpers do it on purpose)...and Ticketmaster tried to turn it around and blame them. It's so irritating that Ticketmaster basically has a monopoly at this point that can't be broken up.

The biggest venues in my country don't work with Ticketmaster and I'm so grateful for that, tbh.

Very interesting. I didn’t know that.
you would think a competitor would create a better product but as it’s not happened yet I’m not sure if it ever will.

This is kinda annoying... my Cher show was postponed from late-March to early-September... I will be out of the country during the time of concert, so I called to request a refund (which was not initially available) but the hold music said it would be 40-60 minutes.... So i was like - I'll call in a few months when things aren't as hectic and now this??? Ugh. And what's more annoying is that it was an $80 solo seat, where other solo seats have been discounted to a mere $30 - so there's no way in hell that I'll get any kind of money back.
